How To Start A Profitable Online Business

This online business I am offering to you is not a rich quick scheme, networking or any pyramiding business. I am talking about starting your OWN business. So, if you are looking for easy money online, please, please, please don’t continue reading this post because it will waste your time and this post is not all about rich quick scheme. This online opportunity that I am about to share is for the serious individual only who are looking for a legit way to make a full-time income online.

I created this post with the intention of helping other people to start their own profitable online business regardless of who you are and where on earth you are reading this article. Everything that I reveal on this post is base on my personal experience, learning, and research. I may not be an expert but I love to share with you the steps and tools that I used to build my own profitable online business.

 

THE 6 SIMPLE STEPS TO BUILD A PROFITABLE ONLINE BUSINESS

Step 1: Choose a profitable niche or topic

The first thing that you need to do in order to get started with your online business is to determine the niche (product category) that you will like to promote. It is crucial that you do this step right and takes your time to do good research on the product and your chosen audience. If you want to get on top of your business choose a niche that you are personally interested rather than choosing a niche because of the money.

If you find hard in choosing your niche, there are the 3 evergreen niches that you can choose from. Evergreen niches are product categories that can be sold all year round to a large demographic.  I suggest choosing one of them but if you think it is not in line with your passion or interest you can still start with your chosen niche. The 3 evergreen niches are health, wealth and relationships.

 

Step 2: Choose a product to Sell

The type of product that you decide to promote can have a direct impact on the amount of money that you make. Find a product with high demand or solve people’s problem and put these in front of people that could be interested in them.  That product could be either physical or digital products. If you already have your own physical products to promote then go with it or you can check on giant retailers online like Amazon, Walmart, Lazada and a lot more. Digital products are those such as Ebooks, audiobooks, online courses or virtual services. Most of them are offered online which makes a bit easier to promote than physical products.

 

Step 3: Create a website

A website plays a very important role in online business. Your website will serve as your profile online, it is very important because it will help you build trust with potential customers. If you believe that creating a website could be a tedious task that can keep you from achieving any type of success in online business, DO NOT WORRY. Step 4: Create a simple landing page or opt-in page

A landing page can be created as an informative article or as a way to collect visitor’s information like name, email address or telephone numbers. As an online entrepreneur, collecting emails should be a MUST. This is the best strategy to leverage your income and get in touch with your audience. You can easily create beautiful landing pages with software like click funnel, lead-pages or instapage.  Landing pages will also enable you to install tracking pixels. These pixels can be very useful in order to retarget the visitors that did not purchase or opted into your offer.

Step 5: Create your email list

They said that email marketing is dead without realizing the big role of the email list in online business. Step 6: Drive traffic to your landing page / opt-in page

For free traffic, you can harness the power of platforms like Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and etc., to create large followings and get free traffic to your offers.

For Paid traffic, there are many ways to purchase traffic but keep in mind that driving traffic to your offers alone will not be a guarantee to make money online. In order to make paid traffic work, you will need to know your offer and the type of people who will be more inclined to buy it. You can purchase traffic from social media platforms like Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and etc. Search engine advertising is another great way to drive traffic to your offers; you will need to sign up for ad accounts.

My personal advice for you is to focus on one and ignore all the others. I highly recommend you to learn as much as you can on how to purchase and drive traffic to your offers. Invest in yourself first, don’t be afraid to invest money in books, courses, seminars and anything else that will help you master it. But if you are just getting started and have never invested a penny on paid traffic before, I suggest starting your advertising on Facebook.  Facebook Ad is the best way to get started fast and reduce your risk of losing money at the beginning.
